The Air Training Corps is built on 3 aims which haven't changed since its formation in 1938 as the Air Cadet Defence Corps.

The Aims of the Air Cadet Organization are:

To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.

To provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.

To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

This doesn't just apply to cadets, it applies to new staff as well. The more that you can put into the ATC the more you will get out of it. Just think in a years time you could be a uniformed officer leading parades through towns and cities because you dared to try us!

Why not come along to see us any way, because even if you don't like it what have you got to lose?
