As a new cadet you need to learn everything from these manuals to pass the 1st class level At this level you need to complete all three modules and also a first aid at work course run through the Sqn. This is when you get your first GCSE Here you can choose which two subjects to complete. While there are less subjects they are much more in depth than the previous two levels At Staff level you need to do the other two subjects available. This constitutes Staff Part 1 and gets you the BTEQ. Staff Part 2 involves an interview with a Wing Officer and a presentation.
